Separator and vessel cleaning
Offline techniques are centred on SludgeVac, a powerful
pneumatically driven portable airflow suction system.
The powerful SludgeVac system allows separators/vessels to be
remotely desanded quickly and safely at rates of as much as 10
tonnes of material per hour, frequently without the need for any
hazardous man entry. With considerable horizontal and vertical
distance reach, these impressive units are ideal for situations where
access is limited.
Cape DBI’s SyphonVac is utilised to deliver safe and cost effective removal
of material from tanks and vessels whilst they remain fully online.
Designed and built to exacting offshore specifications, SyphonVac fits
directly onto most existing vessels or separators and uses a
combination of air and water at pressures as high as 80 bar. |
Separator de-sanding
Cape DBI’s SyphonVac and SludgeVac systems offer significant benefits
when used in combination to deliver de-sanding.
Combining these remote techniques significantly reduces the need
for expensive shutdowns and hazardous man entry with it’s attendant
need for degassing, safety assessments, rest periods, hoists and
support crews.
Since your system remains fully online during the desanding process,
there is little, or no effect on production; dramatically increasing the
income potential of the plant.
